O conjunto edificado localiza-se num dos eixos principais do lugar da Beirã – Rua Vivas, em Marvão, paralelo à linha do comboio, onde se encontra a Igreja.
Constitui-se por um pátio frontal virado para a Rua Vivas e uma construção principal que atravessa o terreno em toda a sua largura. Caracterizada por um grande e bonito arco que permite o atravessamento do edifício anunciando o terreno tardoz.
A proposta visa requalificar o conjunto das construções existentes restituindo-o de condições de habitabilidade contemporâneas, subdividindo o espaço em várias unidades de alojamento.
O acesso às unidades será feito a partir do arco que assume o merecido destaque através da utilização de pigmento azul na cal, resgatando a memória da utilização dos pigmentos na caiação dos edifícios no Alentejo.
No interior das unidades propõe-se um objecto que encerra uma cozinha, uma instalação sanitária, desdobrando-se em espaço de dormir ao nível de um primeiro piso.
Um objeto cuja a matéria será em apainelado de madeira, que habita a preexistência permitindo que a mesma respire a sua história, descolando-se do teto em todos os espaços e, sempre que possível, das paredes frontal e tardoz, encostando-se
lateralmente de forma a permitir que o espaço seja atravessado por um eixo de luz natural com a orientação nascente / poente.

The building complex is located in one of the main axes of the place of Beirã - Rua Vivas - parallel to the train line, where the church is located.
It consists of a front yard facing the Rua Vivas and a main building that crosses the ground in all its width. Characterized by a large and beautiful arch that allows the crossing of the building announcing the terrain behind.
The proposal aims to requalify the existing buildings by restoring them to contemporary living conditions, subdividing the space into several housing units.
The access to the units will be made from the arch that assumes the deserved distinction through the use of blue pigment in the whitewash, rescuing the memory of the use of pigments in the whitewash of the buildings in Alentejo.
Inside the units an object is proposed that encloses a kitchen, a sanitary installation, unfolding into a sleeping space on the second floor.
An object whose material will be in wood paneling, which inhabits the pre-existence allowing it to breathe its history, detaching itself from the ceiling in all spaces and, whenever possible, from the front and back walls, leaning against the side in order to allow the space to be crossed by an axis of natural light with the east / west orientation.
