A proposta consiste na remodelação da antiga padaria num espaço de restauração onde se pretende servir ‘hot dogs’ [cachorros quentes] diferenciados e de qualidade gourmet. A ideia central da proposta consiste na instalação de uma única mesa elevada, próxima do conceito de távola, que permite a partilha das refeições pelos seus utilizadores, procurando dar ênfase à sensação de nos encontrarmos num espaço longo (mais do que é na realidade), uma vez que se trata de uma sala de dimensões reduzidas. A ideia da távola permite-nos, por um lado unificar todas as funcionalidades incluindo a ligação com o balcão, por outro contribui para o conceito de refeição breve, ou seja, de uma reduzida permanência do cliente no espaço oferecendo a sua rápida rotatividade, onde se prevê sentar doze utilizadores.
Estão contemplados mais dois elementos de refeição: uma manjedoura à mesma altura da távola, na parede esquerda que limita a sala, até tocar no ‘novo volume’ dos serviços, para refeições em pé; e uma prateleira na montra que permite a oferta de refeição a mais dois utilizadores sentados.
The proposal consists of remodeling the old bakery into a restaurant space where it is intended to serve differentiated and gourmet quality 'hot dogs'. The central idea of the proposal is the installation of a single elevated table, close to the concept of a table, which allows the sharing of meals by its users, seeking to emphasize the feeling of being in a long space (more than it actually is), since it is a room of reduced dimensions. The idea of the table allows us, on the one hand, to unify all the functionalities including the connection with the counter, on the other hand it contributes to the concept of a short meal, that is, a reduced permanence of the client in the space offering its rapid rotation, where it is expected to sit twelve users.
Two more dining elements are contemplated: a manger at the same height as the table, on the left wall that limits the room, until it touches the 'new volume' of services, for standing meals; and a shelf in the window that allows the offer of a meal to two more seated users.
